Rethink (Pseudo Psyche)
Man I can feel it today, your not quite
yourself I must say,
I've noticed your smiles are vague and the sparkle you once had is disintigrating,
And it's just the smallest of things, your mood so delicately swings,
Your eyes hold an incomprehensible language to which I am totally illiterate.
And when I think it's clear
You rethink, and disconnect again
And when I think it's clear
You rethink, you rethink
Familiar faces ignored, deja vu highly endorsed,
Why place so much trust on a memory that fabricates segments of living encountered?
Seems like your using your psyche to conceal the fragrance of trouble that's
brewing.
If you fell like a drop of rain would you
feel free again?
Surely to contradict the sands of time, you'd turn them back again.
Yeah, see how something can change in an
eye blink?
Yeah, even if you're on concrete you can still sink.
Yeah, I'm beginning to rethink.
Maybe I'm looking too deep, I notice the
wall not the niche,
You can't take a snapshot of time and apply it to all circumstances,
Or maybe it's me who is gone, your curious stare says I'm wrong,
I'm suddenly questioning, all my intentions are demystified.
