So, the story of me and finding Intraverse goes something like this: I have grown up in the serene surroundings of a small village in the South East. This has to be the most non-happening place on the planet, honestly, the most exciting phenomenon around here ia the 90 year old woman visiting the local Antique store! Anyhow, I digress, one day I was flipping through the Argos catalogue and I sees me an Electric guitar, 'WOW' I thought, 'I'm gonna get me one of them!' Luckily enough my parents got me the £50 electric guitar and I start to learn! I got lessons with a complete god of a guitar teacher in the nearest local town (which is about 700 miles away!) He showed me the art in the way of bands/artists like Metallica, Pearl Jam, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani but to name a few. By this time I was around 11 and starting Secondary School and I bump into a dubious chap by the name of Timothy Pears (that's 'George' to you!!) and we started up a band!!! >

..Just the two of us making an orchestrated racket that we know as METAL! We called ourselves 'LITHIUM' and started the search for other members. About two years later and having played at many prestigious venues like 'Jarvis Brook scout Hut' and 'Main Site School Assembly' we bump into Callum Hunter and Mike Hurst who joined our undersized two man band to form 'AXIS' (that was our new name in case you're wondering!) We played exactly the same esteemed settings thrashing out the deadliest array of death METAL until we all decided to part ways at some point in 1999.
We all remained friends etc. just in case you're speculating, we were pretty much just playing covers and bumming around/smoking out. Tim, Mike and myself however did regroup and have friendly jam sessions at my gaf (raspberry not strawberry if you're interested!!!) and started to get a few tunes together with Mike occasionally adding a vocal flourish!

A while later, after some better gigs, we wanted to re-participate in a 'battle of the bands' competition that we had come 2nd in a year earlier, we felt that we needed a singer, a girlfriend at the time recommended a guy from her college called Max Pepe who came along to a practice to run through the tunes, turns out that he completely astonished us with his dazzling gift to sing that we begged him to not only join us to play the gig but to leave his current band and join us, and he did (nice one Maxxypoo's!) Ever since I have been rewarded with these guys amazing talents for music and have been BLESSED to have been able to work with them (unlucky you other guitarists out there!!!!)
